On May 22, 2026, Deko Entertainment released the 50th anniversary of Angel's second album "Helluva Band".
It's been remastered and they released it 6-panel digipak CD and on 180-gram vinyl in two amazing limited-edition colors.
It includes liner notes by Rock Candy journalist, Dave Reynolds
Angel employs a dazzling mix of glam rock, hard rock, and progressive rock and were known for every member wearing white satin outfits and having an over-the-top stage show.
They were discovered by Kiss bassist Gene Simmons.
They released their debut album in 1975, and they issued 4 more studio albums and a live album before going their separate ways in 1981.
Their studio albums include "Angel" from 1975, "Helluva Band" from 1976, "On Earth as It Is in Heaven" from 1977, "White Hot" from 1978, "Sinful" from 1979 and their 1980 live album "Live Without A Net". They reunited in the 1990s and released "In the Beginning" in 1999. They reunited once again in 2019, and they released "Risen" in 2019 and "Once Upon A Time" in 2023.
