Nearly two decades after the original release of "Nerf Herder's album "IV", Oglio Records will release the first-ever vinyl pressing of the acclaimed 2008 album giving fans a chance to experience this album on vinyl for the first time.
"IV" was originally released as a CD on Oglio Records in 2008 and Parry Gripp, Charlie Dennis, and Steve Sherlock reunited not to revisit the past but to prove that the chemistry behind some of the smartest and funniest songs was still there.
This album was packed with everything that made Nerf Herder a cult favorite for more than three decades. They had irresistible power pop melodies, crunchy punk rock guitars, razor sharp wit and lyrics that bounce between being heartfelt and being hilariously relatable.
They were known for writing the theme song for the TV show, "Buffy The Vampire Slayer".
They were funny without becoming a novelty act. They were catchy without sacrificing their punk spirit. The album is endlessly replayable.
"IV" is one of the hidden gems of 2000s pop punk.
After seventeen years, it's finally on vinyl.
