"The Envoy" is the fifth album by Warren Zevon.
It was his last album on Asylum Records.
Even though "Let Nothing Come Between You" charted at #24 on the Mainstream Billboard Rock chart, Asylum dropped Zevon since the rest of the record was considered to be a commercial failure.
Warren didn't release a new album again until 1987, when he was signed to Virgin. That album is called "Sentimental Hygiene".
