After 5 years, Lexytron is back!
Today, Lexytron has released her first single, "Kiss Me Quick" off of her upcoming album "Something New" which will be released on Persian Punk Records.
First there was John & Yoko, then Jack and Meg. Now there is Lexy and Mike who are a creatively offbeat husband and wife songwriting and musical duo based in Auckland, New Zealand.
Follow Lexytron's genre-bending debut album, "Something Blue", Lexy slips into a more electronic on "Something New" where she pairs an alternative pop rock style with sardonic wit, bus choruses and a painful honesty that has become her trademark.
The album was self-produced in Auckland, New Zealand and it was mixed and mastered by London producer Marco Meloni.
The first single, "Kiss Me Quick" is cloaked in a fuzzy synthscape, Kiss Me Quick sees Lexytron dripping in vulnerability and slathering herself in alt girl empowered pop.
