R-NØT is a chunky, punky, alternative rock band.
Their tunes are packed with mesmerizing melodies and neck-breaking riffs held together by a raw invasive beat. Think of it as an alternative to alternative.
From the suburban reaches of Washington DC, R-NØT is a high-energy punk-inspired rock trio. Prolific punk singer/songwriter Pi Makarov teams up Chuck Bowley (bass guitar) and Mike Packard (drums – formerly Suspect Down) to unleash a barrage of punky, chunky, yet highly melodic tunes that conjure up your inner angsty teenager. With a vibe reminiscent of a bygone era, their short, sweet, raw and powerful songs simply get stuck in your head.
Today, they release their debut album, "Dumpster Fire". It is terrific. We will be sharing an interview with them soon so keep an eye out for it!
