Retronaut Selects: Max Demian - The Call Of The Wild (1980)

This is the second of only two albums released by The Max Demian Band. I remember ordering a promo copy of it on eBay along with a "A Perfect Fit" by Frankie Miller. When I listened to it the first time, I was amazed to hear another Max Demian album and I didn't really have any thoughts about the album. I was processing that there was another Max Demian album.

After I listened to it again, I was amazed at what a unique album it is. Both of the albums are unique, but I think Call Of The Wild is more abstract.

I remember finding out about The Max Demian Band from the $1-$3 rock section at Double Decker Records, and I was fascinated by the cover of their first album, "Take It To The Max". I was blown away by that album the first time I listened to it, and I remember being amazed at how such an interested band existed but was so overlooked too.
