Today's packaging spotlight is about Mott the Hoople's "Brain Capers" Rhino Reserve pressing from Rhino Records.
This album stripped away the polish and glam for heavy, unfiltered hard-driving rock with snarling guitars and Ian Hunter's vocals.
It was released during a turbulent time for Mott the Hoople just before their commercial breakthrough.
This version of "Brain Capers" is pressed on 180-gram black vinyl.
It's part of the Rhino Reserve collection and it is available exclusively at brick-and-mortar record stores.
The lacquers were cut from analog tape.
