This is the second album that Mike Starrs of Colosseum II is on lead vocals instead of John Lawton.
This album and the previous Good Time Warrior (1978) were an attempt at a more commercial, accessible style which was met with limited success.
You'll be ready to say that no style worked for this band, when nothing was working because no one was trying to promote bands like Lucifer's Friend.
All you have to do is listen. This doesn't mean you have to love what you hear but at least listen to it instead of saying you don't like it without listening to it. You allow yourself to have a diverse music taste when you listen to music out of your comfort zone because this is what makes you want to give different genres of music a chance.
