New Releases: The Ting Tings - Home (2025)

Published on 1 August 2025 at 08:05

On June 6, 2025, The Ting Tings released their fifth album, "Home".

It was recorded in a wooden decked analog studio and it is an easy, breezy yacht rock album that is committed to traditional songwriting inspired by their favorite artists which include Fleetwood Mac, Dire Straits, The Eagles, The Carpenters, Crosby Stills & Nash, Supertramp, and Christopher Cross.

It is best experienced if you listen to it in the car with the windows down and looking at the sea.

I've listened to The Ting Tings since 2008. I discovered them because of my dad. I heard it on his copy of the December 2008/January 2009 CD of Monitor This!, but it wasn't until I was older that I got really into their music when their second album "Sounds From Nowheresville" came out. That was a CD my dad would play every day on our home stereo while my brother and I were doing our schoolwork for Connections Academy.

We were able to borrow a copy of their first album "We Started Nothing" from our local library and we eventually bought our own copy since we listened to it so often.

From then on, we always stayed updated on The Ting Tings latest music and when I heard that The Ting Tings had a new album coming out, I was excited.

I listened to "Home" today for the first time in full and I loved it.

If you haven't checked out The Ting Tings latest album or any of their catalog, check it out.
