Harlequin is a Canadian rock band, formed in Winnipeg in the mid-1970's. The original line-up consisted of singer George Belanger, guitarist Glen Willows, Gary Golden on keyboards, drummer David Budzak and Ralph James on bass. Randy Hiebert was a later guitar player who played on Radio Romances.

They released 7 albums, including "Victim Of A Song" in 1979, "Love Crimes" in 1980, "One False Move" in 1982, "Harlequin" in 1984, "Harlequin II" in 2004, "Waking The Jester" in 2007, and "On/Q" in 2009. They also released a compilation called "Radio Romances" in 1986.

I made a playlist featuring some of my favorite Harlequin tunes so you can listen to their music while you read the article!
