Spotlight: Robert Hazard

Robert Rimato, also known as Robert Hazard is an American songwriter and musician that was born in Phildelphia, PA. He was born on August 21, 1948 and he passed away on August 5, 2008.

He released his debut EP in 1982, which included the hit song, "Escalator Of Life". The original pressing of this EP included a poster of Robert Hazard that was sealed over the jacket. Whenever you see this in record stores, you may find the poster in the sleeve, or gone altogether.

He released "Wing Of Fire" in 1984, "Darling" in 1986, "Howl" in 1998, "Blue Mountain" and "The Seventh Lake" in 2004, and his last album Troubador in 2017.

He wrote "Girls Just Want To Have Fun", which was recorded by Cyndi Lauper for her debut album, "She's So Unusual".
