I discovered The Raconteurs while I was transferring music to my first MP3 player. While I was transferring some of the albums that were on our computer, I also discovered Louis XIV and The Virgins!
I used to listen to "Carolina Drama", "Salute Your Solution" and "Consoler Of The Lonely" all the time, and when I got older, I started listening to "Top Yourself" and "Old Enough" more often. It always amazed me how great every song is on Consolers Of The Lonely, and it became one of my favorite albums.
When "Help Me Stranger" was announced, I couldn't wait to listen to it. It was the first Raconteurs in 11 years! The first I listened to that album, I was reminded of all the times that I listened to Consolers Of The Lonely when I was young, and I was blown away once again by The Raconteurs.
