Under The Radar: Head East

Published on 16 March 2022 at 08:20

I discovered Head East after their album "Flat As A Pancake" was recommended to my by Spotify.

I listened to certain songs, but I started listening to it more when I got a copy of it on vinyl!

After I fell in love with that album, I always bought Head East albums when I saw them at record stores.

They're another one of the southern rock style bands from the 1970s, but their use of keyboards made them stand out from the other artists in that genre. I can't say they sound like anyone because they are so unique!

My favorite bands are always the ones who have their own sound instead of trying to sound like another artist, and that's why Head East is one of my favorite bands.
