Discovered On CD

The first artists I remember hearing were Maroon 5, Kiss, and Midnight Oil. They were artists my dad would play on our home stereo. There were some artists that he would play albums on CD,  that aren't on Spotify, like Jughead. The only reason I knew about artists like them was because of my dad's CD collection!

After I started going to record stores with my dad, I discovered artists like N.E.R.D., Pussycat Dolls, Sugarland, and Built To Spill. I remember discovering those artists by observing the listening station and observing the promos that were in the record store too.

As I got older, I always went to record stores because I love music. I discovered artists like The Bohicas, Royal Blood, Nothing But Thieves, Logic, Alabama Shakes, Brendan Benson, and Haim  to name a few.

Before I had my own record collection, I would go through my dad's records and I found out about a lot of music from hearing what he played and listening to music from his collection on vinyl!

This playlist includes artists from my childhood all the way to adulthood. From Yeah Yeah Yeahs to Queen to Mr. Big to Beck to Dashboard Confessional to White Hot Odyssey to Start Trouble to Ben Harper to Kill Hannah to Matt White and many more!
