I discovered Blackfoot on Spotify, but I didn't start listening to them until I found an original pressing on Strikes on vinyl at a record store.
Listening to music on vinyl is very different from streaming. Taking an inner sleeve out of an album jacket, and an album out of the inner sleeve and placing it on the turntable is a one of a kind feeling that you can only get from listening to music this way.
Blackfoot is one of many southern rock acts from the 1970s/1980s, but I love their music because it combines southern rock and hard rock.
Most southern rock bands don't fuse hard rock into their sound, but I love that Blackfoot does because it's what makes them unique.
They aren't like every other southern rock band.
