I first found out about Liberty Deep Down from my friend Becca, who founded Banded PR. I was told via DM that a band called Liberty Deep Down was going to contact me. When I checked my email, I received an email from them telling me that they had released a new single that they thought would fit on one of my playlists.
The tune was “Hey You” and I was blown away by what I heard and I couldn’t resist featuring them and I wrote back to them and Dominic told me that he was glad I dug “Hey You” and that it meant so much that I checked it out. It always feels special when artists tell me that it mattered that I listened to their song…because most people don’t take the time to listen, and that’s why so many artists struggle. People don’t like checking out something new because it’s easier to listen to what you know.
I’ve discovered countless acts that are both talented and passionate. I’ve met countless people, the ones in these bands who are kind people who reach out to someone like me because of the work I do for up and coming artists. The reason I do what I do is because there are so many acts, new and old, that should be talked about. Any artist making music that is original deserves to be listened to.
Liberty Deep Down is one of the most versatile artists I’ve discovered because of Generation Clash, from their pop songs to rock songs, they’re one of my favorite bands because everything they do is interesting and they aren’t one genre. Their songs are so well written and their passion and talent comes through in every song they’ve written.
