Retronaut Selects: Baton Rouge - Lights Out On The Playground (1991)

I remember discovering Baton Rouge because of my friend Steph. I remember hearing their song, "Walks Like A Woman" from one of her playlists!

I burned a copy of my dad's CD so I could listen to it on my Blackberry, and I remember liking it but it took me time to love it.

However, when I heard their second album, "Lights Out On The Playground", I had a completely different reaction. I was blown away by it the first time I listened to it. I couldn't believe how great every song was.

I've listened to this album so many times that I've lost count. I've studied, edited photos, worked on content for GenClash, and even listened to this album in the car. It's an album that can be listened to, anytime and anywhere.

Essential Tracks: Tie You Up, Dreamin' In Black And White, Tear Down The Walls
