I remember finding out about Sue Saad from the book, The New Music.
I found a copy of her debut album while I was record shopping, and it was the first time I had ever seen it in a record store.
I'm always amazed at how obscure these artists are, but how rare it is to find their music. This album, like many in my collection, I've only seen once. I've probably seen a few twice, but the majority I know I saw once.
This album is one of many underrated new wave debuts. It was an album I remember listening to when I wasn't paying attention, and that was only because I was working on something while I was listening to it. I think I was working on my Mother May I scrapbook!
Like any album I feature on here, I really enjoyed it and I wanted to share it with you guys. Check it out and see what you think.
Essential Tracks: I I Me Me, Gimme Love Gimme Pain, Danger Love
