I searched for a copy of Amazon Beach for a long time and one day when I was looking at The Record Parlour's eBay page, I found a promo copy of it!
The first time I listened to Amazon Beach was on vinyl. I knew about The Kings because of my friend Chris! He'd play "Switchin To Glide" on his show and I always thought that that was a great song and I wanted to hear more from this band.
When I got Amazon Beach, I was really excited because this was the Kings record I never heard before. It was my first time listening to it and it was so interesting.
The Kings are different, and that's what makes them great.
