I found out about Rock Rose from Rate Your Music, when I was looking at a list of obscure rock albums online.
I never heard what Rock Rose sounded like until I found a copy of their album on vinyl in a record store. It's a white label promo, with the timing strip and gold stamp!
This is a fantastic debut album. I'm truly amazed by so many artists from this time that had impressive debut albums but weren't properly promoted, despite the apparent potential they showed.
