Published on 1 December 2022 at 10:30

1: How did you decide on the name, “Ill Anatomy"?
Dalton and Oscar were jamming under multiple names. Dalton and Cam's Dad came up with Ill Anatomy and it stuck
2: What inspires you to create?
"If I don't stay creative, I get destructive" - Dalton
3: What advice would you give to someone who wants to be in a creative profession?
Don't be scared about what anybody you know has to say about what you do.
4: Do you feel open minded about what you listen to? Do you like going out of your comfort zone?
We are absolutely open minded in  what we listen to. From rap, hip hop, classical, grunge and metal.. even a few country songs, we listen to it all.
5: What outlets do you find out about music from? (Record stores, magazines, samplers, etc.)
"I've found a lot of the music I enjoy today from my Moms old CD collection" - Oscar
6: What is your favorite format to listen to music on? (CD, Vinyl, etc.)
People get sentimental about records, so we exclusively stream music online..
7: How do you feel the internet has impacted the music business?
Poorly, Artists don't make money off of music sales as much anymore and are forced to make their profit with live shows and merch sales. Things are better for consumers and worse for the producers.
8: Who was the first band/artist that became your favorite band?
Stone Temple Pilots - Cam
Asking Alexandria - Oscar
Nirvana - Dalton
9: If you could open a show for any artist, who would it be?
Alice in Chains or Judas Priest
10: What was the inspiration for your song “Sunset”?
Real life shit. It should be easy to understand once you realize 'Sunset' is a metaphor for addiction, dependencies, substance abuse, and the dawn of a new day.
