Retronaut Favorites: Red Hot Chili Peppers

I discovered RHCP when I was a kid. I remember seeing the music videos for "By The Way" and "Can't Stop" on TV all the time, and I always loved both of those videos and I would watch the entire thing whenever it came on.

I started listening to them when I got older after I saw them on the cover of a 2011 issue of Rolling Stone magazine to promote their album "I'm With You". I remember seeing the music videos for "The Adventures Of Rain Dance Maggie" and "Brendan's Death Song" on Palladia.

The next album I got into was Stadium Arcadium. I'd listen to it everyday. Jupiter and Mars! I rediscovered By The Way after wanting to hear more than the two songs I knew from that album.

I listened to RHCP countless times during my teenage years and I'm still listen to them now.

RHCP was one of the first mainstream acts I loved because of how unique they are. There is no band like them.
